Okay, can we discuss something for a brief moment?

I KNOW that my Qiniq is moving at a snail's pace as of late. I know that a friend of mine's Qiniq is running slow too. I've read your comment, KOTN's comment... Jaime's comment on her blog...

Is everyone experiencing the same thing???

Mine connection has been painful but I assumed it was because I was over my cap for the month. It SHOULD be back to normal Saturday so I'll know for sure if it's just bad luck on the part of a few bloggers or if it's part of a bigger problem. I'm beginning to think there may be a problem though. Oh, lovely.

I usually don't do negative posts but Qiniq pisses me off on the good days. We had hit our cap for the month with a week to go. The email they send reads like I won a contest instead of suffering from their expensive and shitty service. We pay 120.00 a month for a service plan that is less than the basic packages for most southern internet providers. It’s true I checked.

I should have a new post tonight.

This sounds like a very short version of the entry I wrote. However, I blame the modem now, not Qiniq. Although it WAS Qiniq's modem (and now is probably rotting in the dump).

which is why we ditched it and went to netkaster though it was a bumpy ride getting it set up, it works great now. and we pay $54.99 for speed about 1.5 X faster than qiniq.

Could be worse. There are about 3 billion people in the world with no internet. Here in Indonesia where there is no harsh climate and land lines we pay the equivalent of $75/month for a so called DSL that has sporadic bursts of normality.
