A Rare Visit

We have a rare visitor to the island.  It is uncommon to get icebergs floating this close because most of the big ones are on the other side of Baffin Island.  This one is on the smaller size and has floated in during high tide and has grounded with low tide.  It will be here until the wind changes or it breaks up on the rocks.  Some photos below to enjoy.
I never tire of them.
A boat came by and gives a nice sence of the scale.
Enjoy.

Fantastic! Amazing! Wish I could have been on that boat to touch the iceberg!

Fantastic! I never saw one this close when I was there. Jealous but thanks for sharing it. They never get old in my opinion either.

Lovely!! I sure miss living on the water, although the mountains outside my window are a good replacement.
