Carvings

I realized today that we have never posted a photo of a carving on this blog and we live in the art capital of Canada. Below is a couple of photos of carvings, recently purchased, that are different or unusual.


Guitar Bear. Hard to tell from this photo but the bear is wearing sunglasses and playing a guitar. The strings are even carved into the guitar.



This is what I call a transformation. To the right the long slender parts are bird heads. To the left is a man rising up, the bottom is a birds foot and the green part is a stone flame shooting from a bears mouth. Overall just a cool carving.

nice! we hv a walrus carving from CD, bought in iqaluit. not a bad price for being here though.

btw, how much are the cape dorset prints? from what range?

The bear is hilarious!!
