The Ice Part III - The Collapse

Monday night I couldn't sleep so I went down to the beach for a stroll and to take some pictures. Towards the end of my hike I heard the sound of thunder behind me and when I turned around one of the icebergs was calving. I started snapping pictures without even realizing it and manged to get the three photos below. The noise of the sliding ice and the impact with the water was amazing. The wave (tsunami?) was only about foot high but did it ever crash when it came to shore. Once in a lifetime.
